EXPLORE 44!
Stop by Stop
The perfect place to shop, see a movie, grab a meal, or stroll through a gallery is only steps from a bus stop along Route 44. The route draws Ballard, Walllingford, and the University District into a community all its own. Take an afternoon, a day, or just make a stop on your way home from work or school. Venture a block or two farther to discover even more...like the Ballard Avenue Landmark District or Wallingford's Seattle Tilth Garden at the Good Shepherd Center.

CONVENIENCE
No traffic or parking hassles.
The next 44 bus is seldom more than 15 minutes away during the day, 7 days per week, and until 10 PM Monday - Saturday.
You’ll find what you’re looking somewhere along Route 44. If it isn’t in Wallingford, it may be just a few feet from a bus stop down the line in Ballard or the University District.

CONNECTIONS
Get to know your neighbors as you support your community.
Route 44 intersects virtually every north/south bus route in North Seattle. See Metro’s Trip Planner at http://tripplanner.metrokc.gov/

CONSERVATION
Route 44 is normally operated with clean, quiet electric trolley buses.
Trolleys are about twice as energy efficient as diesel buses.

Though we could not begin to list every business and service along the route, this is a glimpse of the possibilities.
